HYPNOSIS

Hypnosis is a super-focused state where your brain processes information in a different way than when you are in a "normal" state. In this super-focused state, you access your inner resources such as clarity, creativity, solution-focus and the power to change. What makes hypnosis so effective is that you get to the root of the problem. It is also faster and the number of sessions is very few, unlike traditional therapy.

All hypnosis is, in a sense, self-hypnosis, as it is an internal process that takes place within the individual. However, there are some differences:

  • Clinical hypnosis requires having an area of expertise and applying different hypnosis methods within that area. In order to legally work with clinical hypnosis in healthcare, dentistry and therapy, the hypnosis treatment must be carried out by a licensed doctor, dentist, psychologist or therapist.

  • Self-hypnosis and developmental hypnosis are included in the field of personal development, where the individual can use hypnosis for personal development. Through self-hypnosis, individuals can create greater awareness, control and direction over their own thoughts, feelings and behaviors, thereby creating positive change. The hypnotist is a kind of catalyst for the inner process that takes place, but it is always the individual himself who comes up with the solutions to his problems.

How is the session structured?
The session is 90 minutes. We start the session by briefly talking through your problem and determining your goals. Then I'll guide you into a nice relaxation. We have a dialogue, I ask questions, and you answer whatever spontaneously comes to mind. Together we are detectives, putting together a puzzle to understand where, when, how and why your problems have arisen. When we find the origin of the issues, we also find the programming that has gone wrong. We then use various techniques to unblock and generate new thoughts, feelings and behaviors. A session with me is often equivalent to at least 10-15 sessions with a therapist.

What does a session feel like?
Most people experience a sense of mental acuity and physical relaxation. You sharpen your senses, become more aware of your inner world and can more easily create understanding and healing and find a new way forward. Emotions may come up during the session, but these are usually perfectly manageable.

Do I need to prepare for the session?
Yes, there are some preparations you should make to get the most out of the session. You book your session yourself and receive a confirmation email with all the information you need + a link to prepare for the session. We work on one problem or goal at a time. Select what is most important to you to work with. Sometimes problems are connected to each other and when we solve one problem, we solve several at the same time.

How many sessions are needed?
Most people notice significant changes after just one session. If the problems are more extensive, several sessions are needed. Many clients rarely need more than 3 sessions to see very good results on a single problem. It is usually reasonable to do your sessions every 1-3 months. This will give you time to see what has improved and what we still need to work on.

Will the results be the same if we meet at the practice in Sweden as via Zoom and phone?
80% of my clients work with me remotely and I work in over 25 countries. When I work remotely in Sweden, it is usually by phone (of course you can also meet me via Zoom in Sweden) and with clients abroad via Zoom. It is actually via distance that I get the best results, as the client is more secure and receptive in their own environment. But if you're feeling nervous and insecure or just like to meet IRL, you're welcome to join my internship in Malmö, Sweden. If we work remotely, you need to have good mobile/wifi coverage. During the session, you should sit (preferably with a headrest) or lie comfortably and be completely undisturbed. For best results, wear a headset during the session.

After the session

  • Emotions may come up during the session and you may feel tired afterward. It can therefore be a good idea not to rush into a meeting or do anything else stressful immediately after the session. If possible, allow yourself to land for a little while.

  • Some thoughts, feelings and other memories may come up on the same theme, days or weeks after the session. This is perfectly normal.

  • After the session, write down the most important and positive things you learned. This can serve as a positive reminder for you. Between sessions, it is also helpful to observe and write down your thoughts, experiences, dreams, reactions and progress. This may be useful to take with you to the next session.

What do I work with?
My specialty is to safely create rapid, profound changes and breakthroughs.

I work with low self-confidence and self-esteem, performance anxiety, fear of failure and making mistakes, putting the needs of others before one's own, high need for confirmation, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, sadness, anger, frustration loneliness, jealousy, apathy, being lost, joylessness, stress, fears, phobias, difficulty moving forward, destructiveness, sleep problems and trauma.

What do I NOT work with?

Quit smoking, weight loss, eating disorders, some addictions, ADHD, autism, physical problems or pain. I don't work with clients under 20 years old.

When will I see the results?

This is different for everyone. Some clients get an immediate change. It only takes a few days for them to integrate the changes. More commonly, you notice the changes over time. Problems disappear and well-being increases over time. There are also those who do not notice that the problem has disappeared, the realization comes a while later that the problem has disappeared and sometimes it is the environment that notices the changes first.

Follow-up
Two months after the session, you will receive a checkup email from me with encouragement to reflect on the changes you have noticed. You can then decide whether you need additional sessions or not. The changes may not be in place after two months, depending on the extent of the problem, but you should notice noticeable changes after a few months.

How do I use my health care allowance (friskvårdsbidrag)? Only for Sweden.

If you have a health care allowance, you can use this. You pay with me when we meet and you get a receipt for your employer.

I am not connected to Epassi.
